Abstract

This paper explores the possibilities of use of mobile and Web applications in e- government in the Republic of Srpska and provides an informative overview of the available applications on municipal Web sites. It is evident that information and communication technologies contribute to the improvement of business processes in all business segments and their application can be found in e-government. In order to increase efficiency, transparency and fast access to information, mobile applications provide access to services through mobile devices, thus contributing to better efficiency of e-government. This paper will give a brief overview of mobile technologies that could be implemented in e-government.
