In the era of the mass use of mobile business communication it is only a matter of time when the mobile commerce and mobile payment will become dominant payment methods. Modern people perform their duties in an accelerated way and they use modern technology to help them meet their needs. Fast changes in the choice of the used platforms and the increase of the system complexity set new standards and requirements. Users of mobile payment service have the opportunity to choose among several platforms and information systems which can be found on the market. This paper presents information system of payment and payment acceptance by mobile devices – d2d payment (device-to-device payment). A significant advantage of this compared to other systems of mobile commerce is that it does not require any special equipment and the installation of the same, nor it causes any additional expenses for the seller or buyer: the buyer shall pay with his/her own mobile device with previously installed application for d2d payment, while the seller shall accept the payment using the same application installed on his/her advice. The purpose of this paper is to explain the proposed model and to set up the basis of the information system that would have the possibility of being expanded and which would be modified in time in accordance with the latest scientific findings in this field as well as the market demands. Considering the attractiveness of the given topic, there are numerous possibilities for the implementation of the research results, whereby the system architecture should provide implementation of adjustable, affordable and safe d2d solutions.
