Abstract

Artificial intelligence has undoubtedly already entered everyday human lives. It is present in the form of simple household appliances such as robotic vacuum cleaners, in cars in the form of electronic sensors (parking sensors, autopilots, or GPS systems), in computer games in the form of computer-driven roles, in the manufacturing industry, the film industry, education, and science, but also in various other fields of human existence like culture and art. On websites, online stores, and in various software and applications, artificial intelligence has long been used in the form of chat bots. At the end, artificial intelligence and its role in human life, as well as the idea that it will completely replace humans, are increasingly common topics. Be that as it may, the fact is that humans rely more and more on artificial intelligence, which gives rise to certain questions of an ethical and aesthetic nature, especially when it comes to the artistic field. That is why in this article we will discuss the ethical and aesthetic issues that accompany artificial intelligence and its use in various fields of human activity, with an emphasis on design and art. The application of artificial intelligence in graphic design and art can speed up the design process, improve accuracy and creativity, and reduce the cost of making final products. However, artificial intelligence algorithms are still not sufficiently refined to avoid the traps of uniformity in creativity, and human influence is still indispensable in this process. The article will advocate the position that artificial intelligence still serves only as an auxiliary tool for achieving better and faster results but not as a substitute for the author's creativity, and that there is a need for a new aesthetic and theory in art.
