Strategic planning defines and formulates business goals of enterprise and main directions of the goals implementation. Business strategy formulation has special role and importance in present global competitive environment that is characterized by extreme dynamic and turbulence. If we take into account participation of the enterprise on electronic, internet markets which are very volatile, then we can conclude that enterprise management is faced with specific challenges considering strategic management of enterprise electronic business (EB). This paper gives theoretical contribution to study of various approaches to strategic management of EB with specific emphasis on innovative approach. The paper starts from researches of eminent experts in business strategy field, such as Michael Porter and Gary Hamel, who are set basic principles of enterprise strategic management. Presently, enterprise strategic management is put in context of contemporary information and communication technologies (ICT) application that fundamentally change the way of competitive advantage gaining. This research, although theoretical in nature, has practical implications on enterprise management. Management of every enterprise must give special attention to formulation of EB strategy in order to find the best model providing competitive advantage to the enterprise. Whereas the research analyzes various models and approaches to EB strategic management, enterprise executives can acquire useful knowledge for formulation of their own business strategies. In addition, benefits from this research can have academic community dealing with study of influence of internet technology and the other ICTs on enterprise business strategy.
